Ricardas Sveikauskas

Originally from Lithuania, I have been working and living in Ireland for 15 years. Dublin is now my home, where I have settled with my family, including our boxer dog, Bella.

With decades of experience building ecommerce websites in a wide variety of consumer and business industries, web development is not just my job, but also my passion.

Previously, I worked fulltime with Sandra and Denise for over 5 years in a successful start-up. There, we worked together daily to grow and expand the ecommerce division globally, and in multiple languages.

I am now delighted to work with Sandra and Denise again in Swapoffi where I head up the IT function.

Instead of ecommerce product sales, verification is at the heart of what Swapoffi is all about, so our members trust the homes and home offices posted by members. I love the idea of our community and love the benefits we can offer verified members, free accommodation.

Outside of work, I have a long-standing Friday night appointment when I join friends from all over the world for gaming. As you can imagine, family activities and dog walking keep me busy when I am not building websites or gaming. Fluent in English and Russian, Lithuanian is my mother tongue.

Denise and Sandra add “Equipped with a strong coffee, a gamer chair, keyboard and a set of headphones, there is no website that Ricardas cannot build. He only has one fault though; we have to remind him to stop working sometimes and get some sleep!"

• As a gamer at heart, I had a chance to participate at the front lines in the most expensive, most significant player versus player battle on "EVEonline - Million Dollar Battle."
• Favourite travel memory: Surfing in Lahinch, Co.Clare, Ireland
