Sandra Jiménez Marín

Hola! Originally from Spain, I lived and worked in Dublin for eleven years. I am now based back in my hometown of Reus, Spain.

I love to travel. I also really enjoy my work. My dream lifestyle is to combine the two. Now I can, as I can work from anywhere.

Previously I worked for Deutsche Bank and Microsoft before joining an ecommerce start-up to grow their Spanish business online. Within 2 years, I was Head of Global eCommerce and grew this division into a multi-million euro and multi-language business unit.

My banking background gave me a love of systems, processes, and data. I also discovered I was good at mentoring and training people to build successful international teams.

During my office life, I organised travelling around bank holidays and annual leave for maximum days off. Then Covid happened and a new way of life came, remote working. Accommodation was always the limiting factor, as it is expensive. So I came up with the idea for Swapoffi. Swap accommodation instead of paying for it.

My passion is scuba-diving which takes me all over the world. With Swapoffi, I can combine my love of travel and scuba-diving whilst working remotely using a dedicated home office to live my dream life.
